Work Baby Shower

I had my work baby shower today and was completely spoiled once again.  It was held in the library after school  and the theme was so cute.  There was an actual umbrella hanging from the ceiling upside down with a bunch of balloons in it.  This was over the cake and punch table.  It was too cute!  The tables had yellow, green, and blue paper down the middle with little tea lights decorating them.  They had the cutest napkins that of course had animals on them.  There was even a giraffe. :)  Everyone who decorated and helped out with it did an awesome job.  We got so many things and I finally got smart and put them together instead of doing them one at a time.  What's wrong with me?? :)  We got a lot of baby wipes and lotions.  I got the stroller that I wanted that fits pretty much any car seat.  It's a little more portable than the big one I received.  I'm still using the big one of course but this will come in handy when there is not much room in my car or it can go in Daddy's car or something. :)  We got a humidifier, the baby wipes warmer that I've wanted so badly, the portable diaper caddy that can be taken around the house with me when I'm too lazy to walk a couple of steps to his room. :)  All sorts of gift cards to target, babies r us, walmart, and baby gap.  One lady even made Vince some of the cutest little hats.  There are three of them and are all different sizes.  She also made a blanket.  I LOVE them!  She really spent a lot of time and effort on them.  Another co-worker even made the bag that Vince's stuff was in.   We are so blessed to have everything that has been given to us and we thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of our hearts.  I feel very priveleged to be working in such a warm, caring environment.  Here are some pics of the stuff we got.  I don't have any from the actual shower.  Now, really, all we need is a baby. :)

SPOILED!!

Look at the little hats.  Precious!

We got some more hooded towels and washcloths. :)  I love baby towels and washcloths.

Check out Mr. Giraffe!

Had to get a close up of the Cat in the Hat onesie.  If you look closely, it doesn't have a head so Vince will be the Cat in the Hat. :)  Love it!

Humidifier, lotions, wipes warmer and wipes.  And yes we did have to put another storage piece in there because we have soo much stuff!

Forgot to add one thing.  We got a Paren't Survival Kit that has all sorts of good stuff in it that we might need.  Gas relief drops, nasal drops, soothing ointment, nose sucker, clippers, gripe water, along with some other things.  I'm sure we'll need all that stuff at some point or another.

  1. What a great group you work with! You are blessed to have so many caring friends. You are definitely spoiled and Vince will be too! Keith is getting a great workout putting things together. I love everything you got - so happy you got a humidifier - that will really come in handy. The hats are adorable and so are the clothes, socks, bibs, and love the cat in the hat. You're right - just need Vince to finish it off! Again - a wonderful loving environment you work in - great folks! The decorations sound really cute - wish you had some pictures of it.
