Shower Number 2

We had a shower at Keith's parents house this weekend hosted by his sisters.  We got tons of great stuff and got to spend lots time with family.  Keith's mom got us a giant giraffe for Vince's room.  I think it's about 4 1/2 ft tall.  It goes great with all of his other stuff.  I walked in to their house and almost immediately saw the giraffe.  I love it!  Andrea made some really cute favors with yummy smelling bath salts in them.  She used one of the pictures that my mom drew as the cover for it.  I don't have a picture of them yet seeing as I forgot them at Keith's parents house along with my phone.  :)  But when I get them today or tomorrow I will post a pic of them.  It was such a great idea and I love that she used something that my mom did.  I don't know where you found the time to do them Andrea but I LOVE them!  Marcey and Jake made most of the food with some help from Keith's mom, Sherry.  Of course it was delicious!  We had pasta salad with homemade pesto, homemade chicken salad sandwiches, veggies and dip, hummus, fresh fruit, yummy cheeses and more that I can't think of right now.  For the cake, they used the pictures that my mom did for me again.  It was all very personalized and thoughtful and I loved it!  You girls are awesome.  Oh, and not to forget Mandy, who did the invitations.  I'm posting a pic of what they looked like.  She is so creative and they are so cute.  Thanks!  Keith and I feel very lucky and blessed to have such great friends and family.  Both showers so far have been great and we have received so much and are very thankful to all of you.  We love you!!

Mackie thought he needed to be in a picture too.  You should have seen the dogs when we brought that giraffe in.  They didn't quite know what to think of it and had to sniff around it for quite awhile.  I'm pretty sure if we left the door to Vince's nursery open that we would come home to pieces of giraffe and turtle everywhere! :)
