New Pics

My friend April came over on Friday to see Vince again.  She took some great candid shots of us.  You can see some of them on the side of my blog and I'm going to post the rest underneath.  I thought she did a really great job and I love how they turned out.  When Keith got home,  me, April, and Kristi had a girls night out.  We went and ate dinner, where I had a huge margarita! We went and saw Eclipse finally!  For those who don't know, I LOVE the Twilight series.  I've read all the books multiple times and I think I watched the first one about 7 times in the theater.  Yeah, I know...crazy, but I just really love it.  I only saw New Moon twice but all my girlfriends and I went for the midnight showing.  Me and my friend Emily were pregnant then.  Usually I would have already seen Eclipse mutliple times by now but with Vincey, I couldn't go.  So I was really excited to see it finally.  And get out of the house and have girl time.  :)  We missed you Em!

Only a little over two weeks until I start school again.  Eeeeek!  I will miss Vince terribly and will probably cry the first couple of days, but I will be fine and school does sound kind of exciting again.  I love what I do so it's hard not to be kind of excited.  With all the holidays we get off, this is the best job to have with a kid.  Keith and I go on the 9th to meet the babysitter again (Mama Carmen) and to the doctor to get Vince's shots.  Not looking forward to the doctor part.

Speaking of doctors, we went and had Vince's kidneys scanned because while in utero, the ultrasound tech noticed fluid on Vince's left kidney.  I know I've talked about it before but basicly, he said that this happens to quite a few babies...mostly boys.  He said the pediatrician would follow up on it.  So at 2 weeks old, mom and I took Vince to have an ultrasound of Vince's kidney.  I JUST now got those results back.  He still has fluid on his kidney and the doctor is supposed to talk to us about what we are going to do about it on the 9th.  I think we will just keep getting scans every couple of months to see if it gets worse, clears up on its own, or stays the same.  Please pray that this is not a big deal and that he doesn't have to have any kind of invasive tests.  I have no idea what fluid on the kidney means for him so I'm kind of in the dark.  The nurse said not to worry about it now.  Yeah right!  I will keep you updated when I find out some more details.

Well, off to tend to Vinceypoo.  He's in his Lamb swing that he HAD to have!  He does love it though, and when he's happy, we are all happy. :)
