I love snow...just not driving in it!
Keith couldn't get my car up the driveway!
Backyard looks like a big pile of marshmallows. Dogs loved it. Well, Sarah did. Mack was all prissy about it and pranced around like a deer while Sarah ran around digging her nose all through it. :)
Thankfully, we have no school tomorrow so I get a 3 day weekend! Yay!! I can sleep whenever I want to now and don't have to worry about getting up to go anywhere if I can't. Here are some pics of our house. We also got our crib set in yesterday and Keith has already put together the crib and changing table. We love it! We took a chance on getting a less expensive set from Wal-Mart and we are very pleased with the quality and look of it.
On a side note, yesterday was all about perspective for me. I was at school thinking of how miserable I was because of the no sleep thing and started thinking of certain people that I know that are miserable from being sick AND have to fight for their life. What do they get out of all their misery??? Nothing. What do I get from mine? A precious baby. Instant perspective. How many people would kill just to be able to get pregnant and have a baby? We didn't have any problems getting pregnant and so far everything has been perfect with Vince. That's what really matters right? So I have to be inconvenienced for 4 more months. So what! It will all be over before I know it and then who knows...I might be like some of you other crazy mothers who said they would do it all over again in a heartbeat to get their little ones! :) I still think you are crazy, especially the ones who had to endure so much. But I haven't got to hold my baby in my arms yet like you have. I think that might give things some instant perspective too!
I'm not saying I'm NEVER going to complain again because this is my place to do it. I'm just saying that it's never as bad as it could be and I am going to now try to focus on the positive instead of the negative.
By the way, it's 1:00 in the morning and I'm not sleeping BUT I didn't complain about it!! That's a start right???
They probably won't stay in this position but that's where they landed last night. :)
Wow - you guys had a ton of snow - the pictures are pretty. I love the crib set - you did great! Glad you got some rest last night and today and yes, I'm proud of you for not complaining. :) Vince will be worth it.
ReplyDeleteLove the crib and changing table! Can't wait to see the room all put together. Really can't wait to see the little man and meet him in person. I'm glad youv'e been getting some rest. Hang in there!
