Change of Heart

I had a change of heart on the bedding.  While I love the stuff I already showed you, the prices went waaayyyy up and it wasn't on sale anymore.  That still probably wouldn't have deterred me but I found this other bedding and fell in love with it even more.  I saw this bedding in person after I had already picked out the other one and really, really liked it but since I already chose the other one, I just let it go.   When I found out that the other one was going to be twice as expensive as it started out, I quickly changed my mind to this one.  It is soooo soft and I loved the colors.  The other one was really pretty but I just didn't feel like it was the exact right one after all.  So here are the pics of the room so far. 

On a side note, I went to the doctor last Thursday and everything still looks good.  His heartrate was around 144.  He has really started movin and a'shakin in there.  Normally when I am resting but I feel him at school a lot too.  :)  I did nearly have a heart attack when I got on the scale though.  My weight gain so far has been pretty normal and I hadn't even gotten out of the single digits yet at my 20 week appointment.  I had weighed myself at home and knew I had gained more than I was probably supposed to but when I got on the scale there and those horrible, scary numbers came up...I cried.  I will not tell anyone how much, but I didn't think it was humanly possible for a person to gain THAT much weight in one month!!!  The doctor said not to freak out, that some women just have spurts of weight gain some months and other months not gain very much at all.  She said I just need to make better choices and get out of the mode of eating for two.  She didn't make me feel disgusting though, and for that I LOVE her!  I of course still felt miserable and immediately went home and cried for about 30 minutes to Keith.  Poor Keith.  He's a trooper.  It's just feels so wrong to see the numbers going up when I've basically been trying to make them go down for the last 10 years!!  Needless to say, I went to the grocery store the next day and stocked up on fruits and veggies to snack on.  I blame it on all the people at work who try to feed me terrible delicious things and the kids for bringing me tons of chocolate on Valentines Day and stupid commercials that make me crave something bad and my mom's stupid chocolate cake recipe that I just HAD to make a couple of weeks ago...Ok, no one shoved these things in my mouth so I guess I can stop blaming everyone else and just learn to say NO!! 


On another side note, I went to my mom's this weekend and got loaded down with baby stuff from my mom's friends at work.  They were so nice and got me all sorts of goodies...clothes, toys, blankets, etc.  I'm posting a pic of my favorite blanket they gave me.  It has Vince's name on it.  His first monogrammed item. :)  He also got the cutest Longhorn onesie that one of the ladies embroidered and it has Duncan on the back and the number 10.  The number 10 is for Vince Young, Keith's favorite Longhorn player.  So cute.  I was going to take a picture of it but my camera ran out of battery. :)  Sorry such a long post but I had a lot to catch up on.
