Ahhhhhh!!

What is happening to mee?????  I don't think I've ever really had heartburn before because I don't remember it feeling like this.  On top of which I can't even get close to comfortable sleeping right now.  I am NOT a side sleeper.  I have the worst sleeping habits on the planet.  Back and stomach only.  Ha...not anymore.  So now I get to TRY to sleep on my sides, which inevitably make my arms fall asleep.  So I wake up in the middle of the night freaking out cause I can't feel my hand.  Keith LOVES that!!  Even with my prego pillow...it's just not happening.  It's like I'm not big enough to warrant this giant pillow in my bed but my stomach is too big to feel comfortable without it.  I use it half the night and then wake up, throw it out of bed, get my other pillow, and try to go back to sleep.  It's only the 16th week and I know it's just going to get worse.  I shouldn't be complaining...I mean if this is all I have to deal with then I have a cake walk right??  Just had to get it off my chest.  So if you hear about some man murdering his pregnant wife in the middle of the night...it's probably Keith.  Don't blame the poor guy...I probably deserved it. :)

  1. OK, now that I have quit laughing and wiped the tears from my eyes because I was laughing so hard, tell Keith - this too shall pass. I can just picture you in the middle of the night, jumping up, flapping your arm and yelling "I have an elephant leg where my arm is supposed to be". Then I see Keith roll over, give a big sigh and tell you it will be ok. Thank goodness he is so relaxed. :)

  2. OMG Jen! I'm sorry to tell you but the heartburn will be there until you deliver! Also, to make your night even more miserable, I think you are only supposed to sleep on your left side as much as possible especially the bigger you get. It's something to do with blood flow...I can't remember...it's in the book! I had the same problem with the prego pillow and my hands falling asleep. I had to resort to just using regular pillows - one between my legs and another wedged under my belly. I completely agree with you - SIDE SLEEPING SUCKS! As for Keith...he can get over it! You are sacrificing yourself to carry his child! ;)

I have finally stopped throwing up in my mouth 20 times a day so thats a good thing right? :) You shouold be finding out the sex soon???? That is what I am excited about!!! Then the real fun begins....shopping for baby clothes! Can't wait!

  5. That's hilarious Jen! I'm with Jan--I can picture you jumping around trying to get your hand to wake up. Too too funny. I hope the heartburn gets better. From the comments above, it looks like you better just get a big bottle of tums. I HATE heartburn tho so I can totally empathize.
