Maddox turned one on December 21st. We went to the Bass Pro shop that day to try to get their picture taken with Santa and we couldn't even get a ticket to wait in line because it was so busy. Will definitely be doing that earlier next year. I'm pretty sure Vince would have had a complete meltdown if he had to see Santa as well. It was fun going inside though if it weren't so packed. They had a carousel that we rode on and some cool car racing and crafts and such. We got home late because we went to eat afterwards. Both boys fell asleep on the way home so I didn't think we would get to do birthday cake. But they woke up so we sang Maddox happy birthday, ate some cake, and then went to bed. We got Maddox a standing play table and Granny Jan and Daddy Mike got him a walker.

Here we go with the Christmas pics. They are all mixed up but I'm not sweating it. We had a great time with everyone and I love this time of year when we all get together. It's always crazy chaos and it continues to get worse it each year, but I love it.

Here we are Christmas morning. This is the first pic I took of Vince when he first walked out to see all his presents. His Jake and the Neverland Pirates ship was out and set up and the first thing he said was, "Who opened my presents?" Wasn't expecting that one. He loved all of his things and Maddox loved the paper and his puppy that his babysitter, Mommy Carmen got him.

Maddox hasn't gone to his 1 year appointment yet so I don't have any stats and we haven't had his birthday party yet so I can't post about that yet. Next post will be more about the boys but for tonight, I'm tired. It's literally taken me all day to do this one post. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a happy New Year.
