His little personality is really starting to show. I have a feeling he's going to be pretty laid back just like his Daddy. Thank God! We don't need another person as wound up as I am in this family. :) He will let you know when he's not happy though. Usually this only happens when he's hungry. The boy likes to eat. He has gotten so chunky in the past two weeks. I'm not complaining...I want him to be chunky but it's just so funny because one day he had little chicken legs and the next day he had ham hocks! At least that's how I noticed it anyways. :) He is such a good baby and he's started to really look at me and smile. It only lasts for a second but it makes me so happy. I love it! He is talking a little bit. He coos here and there but he really gets going when he has his paci in his mouth. He sounds like a little race car revving up for the big race. We attempt some tummy time most days but he hates it of course. He can lift his head up for short periods when he is on mine or Keith's tummy but he has a really hard time on the floor. We need more practice. All he seems to do now is have his face planted on and gum the play mat. :) He LOVES that! Ha. He's also getting taller. I think he's about to get taller because of how chunky he's gotten in such a short period of time. He needs to equal some of that fat out over a longer body. :) We call him Lil Chunky. Of course that name will have to go before he understands what it means. Wouldn't want the boy to grow up with a complex. LOL. I'm not sure how much he weighs right now but Keith got on the scale with him and he was 10, almost 11 pounds we think. We go back to the doctor August 9th so we will see then.
Since I can't really get out and shop right now since it is a billion degrees outside, I've been shopping online. The Children's Place had some really good deals and then I found a coupon for free shipping so I got 13 pieces of clothing that are 12 month sizes for next year and I got it all for under $50. Thanks mom for teaching me how to bargain shop. I hardly ever pay full price for anything thanks to you. :) My favorite is the 4th of July shorts I got him to wear next year. So cute.
I'll leave you with some more pictures for your viewing pleasure of the little chunky one. Bye for now.

P.S. Congratulations to Kris and Jill on the birth of Cailyn Scout. She was 6 lbs 13 oz and was 20 in long I think. Our babies are going to be great friends and cousins. Can't wait until Christmas this year! :) She's perfect!!
You know how I like to take pictures of "things". Here are all his new big boy clothes. :)
Scout and Mommy
Scout, big brother, and Daddy
Kamden meeting Vince for the first time.
Aunt Mandi and Vince in Aunt Mandi's wrap. She kept calling him a pea pod. So cute.
Aunt Mandi pretending that Vince was talking. So funny! He was oblivious of course. Don't judge...she was just entertaining us while we patiently waited for Scout. :)
Mom and Mikey waiting for Scout.
Uncle Lewis and Aunt Kelly. Lewis looks like he doesn't really know what to do with Vince. It's all a show. As soon as Vince got in his arms, he was out like a light. Uncle Lew, you have the magic touch. :)
Look guys, I don't really know how I feel about you being so close to my face.
Look at those chunky legs!
This onesie said 0-6 months. Yeah right, not with this porker! :)
I know I should be on my tummy, but I hate it!
This pic was only 2 weeks earlier than the one above and look how much I have filled out. My hair is going bye bye too. I still had alot of it here.
2nd playdate. First one with my new friend Raidy. He's almost 4 months old.
Hey, what's up?
Raidy's mom Addie and Vince.
Keith and Raidy. I love this pic. Too cute.

Awww - Sweet Boy!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures and the one of Lewis and Vince is precious. Before you know it he will be walking out the door to go to college - enjoy these times!
