He is still a pretty picky eater but he still loves his broccoli. I guess if he's going to only eat one kind of veggie, broccoli is a pretty good choice. :) He will eat other veggies occasionally but he loves his broccoli. I can always count on him to eat yogurt, cheese, any fruit, cereal, chicken, pizza (only thin crust), bacon, natural Cheetos, hottas (French fries), and of course anything sweet. He will eat fish sticks occasionally and he ate some saffron rice for the first time the other day and liked it finally. I've been offering that to him for quite some time now and he has always turned his nose up at it. Of course he loves tortilla chips, sour cream, beans, and Mexican rice as well as tortillas. Anything I make that is all mixed up like a casserole or soup though, is not happening. Oh well. He's growing just fine and it could be worse. :)

It's always been a big struggle to brush this boy's teeth! Just this past week, he's finally letting us do it more instead of fighting it. It's really a hard thing to do 9 months pregnant but we push through it. Daddy pretty much does everything at this point so I only have to do the teeth brushing occasionally. Keith has been nothing but great during this pregnancy. He is always willing to do everything and almost never complains. Which is a pretty big feat when you have a whiny two year old and a whiny wife. :) He does the laundry, cleans, cooks, and takes care of us. I couldn't have picked a better man.
He likes to do things on his own now too. As soon as he gets home everyday he immediately takes off his shoes and socks and puts them up. Then when it's time to take a bath, he takes his pants off, then his diaper (and throws it in the trash), and then struggles with his shirt. We haven't quite figured that one out yet but he does try.
Vince loves puzzles! He plays them on the iPad all the time and he has a ton at home. He just now started being able to put together the regular puzzle pieces instead of the big chunky wooden puzzles. He has an Elmo puzzle with 9 pieces that he has mastered and we got him a Jake and the Neverland Pirates puzzle set today with 24 pieces each and he does them pretty well. He needs a little help but for the most part he completes them alone.
He has started to sing songs now and he'll just say random things from t.v. shows and movies. A couple of weeks ago, he was quoting the movie "Up". It took me forever to figure out where his little sayings were coming from. He would come up to me and say, "I like you"! And I would say, "I like you too!" Then he started saying "Adventure is out there" and "Good morning Mr. Fredrickson". I figured it out with that last one. He's too funny.
We went to Walmart today and he told his daddy that he loved Walmart. Probably because he gets a tiny toy every time we go. :) Speaking of his daddy, that boy thinks he hung the moon. Keith is never too tired to play with him and always takes him outside when he wants to go. He plays with him inside and rough houses with him too. He loves it! I feel bad a lot because I can't do those kinds of things with Vince right now but at least he has a daddy who will.
He was a pirate for Halloween this year. He loved it and still wants to dress up like a pirate occasionally. Daddy picked out the costume so good choice daddy! We got a 2T and should have gotten a 3T so it was a little too small but he didn't really care. He was so funny trick or treating. He didn't want to take any candy from anyone and he wouldn't say trick or treat even though he said it a bunch at home. He would tell them no when they tried to give him some. :)
Aarrgghhh Matey! He said that and still says that a lot.
See, too small! :)
Keith took some pictures of Vince and I awhile ago. And yes, I am wearing the striped shirt thing AGAIN because it is super comfortable and almost all of my maternity shirts don't cover my belly well. :) Here are those pics.
We love you so much Vince and we know that you are going to be the best big brother! You make us laugh and smile every day and we love your kisses and hugs and when you tell us you love us. You are what life is all about!
Jen
