Easter 2012

Easter around this house was very low key. We got up to go to church but realized that we had to reserve tickets in order to get in the doors. Yeah, that didn't happen because somebody forgot! Not mentioning names here or anything. In all actuality it was me that forgot. Ooops! We stayed in and watched the service on T.V. We hooked the iPad up to the T.V. and it was like we were there. :)  Vince was very cranky this morning and took his nap around 10. He usually waits until about 12 or 1 but he had stayed up until 9 the night before. We went and visited my friend Emily and her daughter Rae to give her her birthday present. We weren't able to make it to the birthday party because we had our trip to Arkansas planned. And he woke up at 6 this morning so he was one tired, cranky boy. We ate lunch after his nap and then we hid his Easter eggs around his playroom and the computer room and let him go to town. This boy loves him some chocolate so it wasn't hard to get him to go around and find all the hidden eggs. Well I say hidden but you know what I mean. Then he ate some of his chocolate Easter bunny that Granny Jan and Daddy Mike got him. It's been a good day so far. And I do like that we have not done anything today except be together as a family. We needed that. I would have liked to go to church but watching it was almost as good.
