Halloween 2010

Well we celebrated our first Halloween with our friends Jared and Addie.  They have  a little boy that's about 2 months older than Vince.  Mr. Boy started out in his Halloween onesie and then we switched over to the owl costume for awhile before getting into our final outfit...pjs. :)  The adults had fun.  We were going to go around to a couple of houses with the boys but it got a little crazy and Vince wasn't having any of it.  It was past his bedtime.  Next year. 

We visited Rae Lauren and her mommy, my friend Emily, on Sunday also.  We were going to go walking but that went out the window because we hadn't seen each other in awhile and the babies needed to play with each other.  So did we for that matter. :)  We had lots of fun and Rae is just adorable.  We got some good pics. 

Vince will be 5 months old tomorrow.  What?????  Seriously, this boy better slow down or he's gonna get grounded.  He is so funny with his little smile.  I love it.  He just started getting his pacifier, putting it in his mouth, biting down on it, and then taking it out again to look at it so he can do the same thing over and over again.  He can control his hands now so that they do what he wants them to do instead of going all over the place.  So fun to watch.  We are still on rice cereal.  We only eat it every other day or so.  He's still not that into it and I don't want to force it.  He'll eat it when he wants to. :)  He can sit up in his bumbo seat completely now for a longer period of time and he can even stand up in his bouncer thingy.  I don't know what it's called.  I have pictures.  Anywho, he tries to sit up all the time now by himself.  He gets himself up some of the way but then topples back over.  Or I will sit him up on the floor with a toy in front of him and he immediately falls on top of the toy so he can put it in his mouth.  EVERYTHING goes in the mouth.  I guess that's just what babies this age do.  Keith and I love spending time playing with him and watching him discover the world around him.  It's great!
