I think that this picture sums up how we are doing these days. He is into EVERYTHING! I love this age because he is so vocal and can communicate with us so much better now but he is everywhere at all times. It keeps me on my toes though. I get a mini workout every day when I get home from work. This picture was taken before we got his hair cut so he still has some. :)
Some of his favorite things right now:
Finding Nemo
Puzzles
Climbing
Colors (crayons)
Broccoli
Running and running and running and running....
Talking about EVERYTHING (he's already putting two and three words together)
Cuddles and Tigger
Reading Books (and eating them still)
Cereal
Chocolate (he's my kid of course he loves chocolate)
Dried peas and corn (they really are good)
His daddy and mommy (he tells us he loves us) :)
Naming everybody that he knows...it's so cute!
Cheese
Doing Facetime with Daddy Mike and Granny Jan
Did I already say Finding Nemo???
There are some many other things that he is doing and loving but this is what comes to mind right now. This child is seriously obsessed with Finding Nemo. It's a good thing that Keith and I love the movie too. He was addicted to Yo Gabba Gabba so I consider myself lucky. I'll take Nemo over Gabba any day. Keith and I can pretty much quote the entire movie. :)
I shall call him Squishy, and he shall be mine. And he shall be my Squishy.
Keith loves that part! :)
There is a part where the sea turtle, Crush, says "Righteous, righteous" and Vince says it now. Too cute. He's a little ham.
We don't eat french fries very often at all but when we do, I always blow on them and say, "hot, hot". He now calls french fries hottas. It's so funny!
I love this little boy so much and for the most part he is a great child. But he, for the life of me, will not let me change his diaper or put clothes on him now without a fight. It's ridiculous. I've tried every distraction known to man and he still fights me on it. It's exhausting. I'm hoping it's just a phase.
Here is another picture of his baby curls that are now gone. No I'm not sad about it or anything. :( I do miss them but I know they will be back. His hair is already grown a lot since we got it cut.
He is also the sweetest. Last night he woke up and started crying. Keith and I forgot to turn the monitor on so I'm pretty sure he was crying for awhile. I jumped up half asleep and told him I was coming. I got into his room and he said Momma, Momma, drink, drink, water, agua, water, drink (he was a thirsty little guy). So I got him out of bed and went to the kitchen to get him water. He sucked it down like he had been lost in the desert with no water for days. After he was done he looked at me and said, "Momma". I said, "yes baby" like I always do, and he said, "ove you". That's how he says I love you. It was the sweetest thing ever and it just made me so happy. Needless to say he got to sleep in our bed that night. :) Love that little toot.
