Let it Snow

I looked outside today and it was snowing.  Big ol flakes. I was very content to just watch it out the window until it dawned on me that Vince has never seen snow before.  We got him all bundled up in his jacket and hat and I got all bundled up in my jacket and scarf and outside we went. We stood in the garage and watched it come down first and then Daddy took our picture in it. He didn't really know what to think of it. I thoroughly enjoyed catching the flakes in my mouth while he looked at me like I was crazy. He did smile a little but not for the camera of course. At least I got his first snow documented because I know he won't remember a thing.

I love you so much baby boy! I love getting to spend all weekend with you without leaving the house once. Well, we went to Grams and Papa's tonight for dinner but that is the ONLY place we have gone all weekend. It has been very relaxing. We are usually always going on the weekend trying to catch up on things that don't get done during the week.

You are getting to be such a big boy. You talk all the time and say "Da" and "Digolddigolddigold". I know that looks weird but that's what you say. It sounds like dig gold dig gold.  So funny. You scream all the time but in a good way and you laugh and laugh. Which makes Mommy and Daddy laugh and laugh. You love your food and you just started picking up your sippy cup with water in it yesterday. You put it up to your mouth but aren't quite strong enough to tip it up so Mommy has to help you. You ate your first real bites of banana today and you didn't quite know what to do with the pieces. You finally figured out you were supposed to eat them. You are growing up so fast and Mommy just wants to freeze time, but only for a second. :) You love it when Daddy says "Sockies" and when Mommy says "Kisses". You smile and it just lights up everything. We remember what life was like without you but it wasn't nearly as sunny as it is now. We love you more than anything!!!
